What is changing:
Effective March 1, 2026, Lufthansa Cargo will only accept kennels that fully comply with LH05 Operator Variations within the IATA Live Animals Regulations (LAR).
In brief, key changes are:
- Frame: only wooden or steel beams
- Side walls: solid wood or plywood
As of March 1, 2026, Metal kennels are not permitted any longer.
