What is changing:
The Egyptian Customs Authority has officially announced that the Advance Cargo Information (ACI) system will become mandatory for all air freight shipments to Egypt starting January 1, 2026.
Sanctions include customs fines and possible return of shipment.

Application Rules:
- Direct Shipments (FWB): Include ACID and Consignor Code.
- House AWBs (FHL): Include ACID and Consignor Code.
- Master AWBs of Consolidated Shipments (FWB): Include Egyptian Freight Forwarder’s Tax ID.
In case of disregard:
- No acceptance of shipments
- No customs clearance possible
- Shipment cannot be transported
